Our church is a Gay, GLBT,
Affirming Christian church
located in Atlanta GA. Our
primary focus is to worship
Jesus Christ. Our worship style
is charismatic and pentecostal,
but many backgrounds are
represented in our
congregation. We have
members who were Baptist,
Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist,
Assemblies of God, Church of
Christ, Church of God and
independent
non-denominational churches.
We are a LGBT GLBT
affirming church spreading the
good news of Jesus Christ to
ALL with a primary focus on the
gay, lesbian, bisexual, and
transgendered communities.
Our congregation consists of
individuals who are gay,
lesbian, bi-sexual,
transgendered and straight.

From The Pastor
Psalms 22:3 tells us that the Lord inhabits
(dwells within) the praises of His people.
Here at The Gathering Place Atlanta we believe that
the worship of God is the highest calling of every
believer. In the book of Revelation we are told that
each of us were created for God’s pleasure.
In Zephaniah 3:17 the Bible tells us that God gets excited and rejoices
over us, even singing and dancing over us with abundant joy. What a
wonderful picture of our Heavenly Father!
Many in the GLBT and even in the Straight community have been
rejected by mainstream churches and as a result feel spiritually outcast.
Jesus always went out of His way to minister to the outcast and is
continuing to reach out to our community today. He loves all of His
children with an everlasting love. We invite you to come worship with
our family.
